About AKNU University:

The Adikavi Nannaya University has been established in March 2006 as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh Act No. 28 of 2006 located at Rajahmundry. This university is named after one of the renowned poets of the Tamil Literature- Nannayabhatt who is remembered for initiating the authentic translation of Mahabharata from the Sanskrit language to the Telugu language respectively.
